Thursday Night Big Band Sessions
This Limburg “All Star” Big Band led by Dave Vreuls meets once a month in the Muziekgieterij to share its love for Big Band music with the audience. This time the band plays music from the Limburgs Realbook, a collection of the most beautiful jazz compositions from Limburg. The original Real Books are collections of jazz compositions from The Great American Songbook. The Limburgs Realbook is an initiative of Limburg bassist Jo Didderen.
The band performs works by Limburg jazz composers, which have been given a big band look especially for this evening.
