How we missed you!

Our beloved City Park, where we have taken out many picnic blankets on a sunny day, will finally be transformed into one large open-air restaurant after 2 years.

The previous editions of Festival TREK in Maastricht were a great success. As mayor of TREK, I am proud of that. I therefore feel very honored to welcome you again next year in the Maastricht City Park.

Take a tasty journey of discovery through the wide range of street food. Take a seat at the Chef’s Table in one of the mobile food trucks, taste surprising ingredients or try the tastefully prepared new dishes. From sushi to Thai, from vegan(s) to burgers; the taste buds are treated for a weekend. You can quench your thirst extensively at the cocktail bar, the extensive wine bar with a lovely terrace or in our Biergarten with a wide range of specialty beer.

Special acts by young theater makers and intimate live performances make a visit to TREK complete. Musical talent and cabaret artists get the chance to play the stars of heaven on my stage and to break through in their own city and country. A theater caravan pulls through the park to entertain you and old fairground classics provide the greatest fun. As soon as night falls, the day ends with the best funk, soul and dance hits from the eighties.

Whether you go with friends, family, colleagues or a nice date, a day at TREK is a tasteful and atmospheric afternoon, evening or day out for everyone. All you need is good company, a good appetite and a good mood. Then we’ll take care of the rest!
