YĪN YĪN’s debut The Rabbit That Hunts Tigers was released at the end of 2019 and attracted a lot of positive international acclaim. Festivals such as Le Guess Who, Into The Great Wide Open and LowLands are now on the honors list of this South Limburg band.

They released their first few songs on cassette and this immediately earned YĪN YĪN a record deal with the tasteful Swiss label Bongo Joe Records. Musically YĪN YĪN is inspired by the psychedelic Thai funk from the 60s and 70s. The band combines this swinging style with traditional folklore, disco, psychrock and electronica to elaborate improvisations and swinging songs. YĪN YĪN is an absolute must for fans of Khruangbin, Altin Gun and Mauskovic Dance Band.
