As Spring struggles to fully ‘spring’ and the city tentatively begins to reopen, check out this month’s segments for some things to see and do.

English bookstore Maastricht

If you haven’t been already, make sure you check out the English Bookstore on the Frankenstraat.

Click here to read more about this charming new addition to the Maastricht expat community and learn about the owners, their concept and plans for the future.

You can also find them on their website, Facebook and Instagram.

MADcakes recipe of the month

MADcakes bake of the month is Chocolate-caramel biscuits and they look absolutely delicious! A perfect addition to the cookie jar for that afternoon energy dip to accompany your coffee…or to share with friends if you have the self control not to eat them all at once!

If you try making this recipe, please tag @maastrichterlife and @madcakesmaastricht in your photos. We look forward to seeing them.
