Unfortunately, the annual “ Mestreechter Vasteloavend “ tradition won’t be the same this year, but that doesn’t mean we can’t still celebrate! Here are some tips to get you in the mood while staying at home!

1. Play the most cheerful Carnaval music at home with “The jukebox vaan Lena”, a Spotify playlist set up by the Tempeleers Mestreech. These Maastrichter carnaval songs will surely put you in the carnaval mood!
2. “Vasteloavend Hoeskonzèr” –  the Carnaval at home concert (13th- 15th February) . The Maastrichter artists “Beppie Kraft, Frans Theunsz, and De Köp will make sure you get those Carnaval vibes with an online concert from the Muziekgitarij, organized by Cultura Mosae and the Tempeleers Mestreech! So wear your favourite Carnaval costume and sing a long!
3. Philharmonie Zuidnederland | Carnavalsconcert (12th, 13th, 14th and 17th of February)
Is the Maastricht carnavalsmusic not enough for you and are you curious what kind of carnavalsmusic they play in other parts of the country? Then this might be the concert for you! The Philharmonie zuidnederland will play a unique carnavalsconcert with some some great carnaval hits from not only Limburg, but also Brabant! They will alternate this with some classical music. This great mix of party music and symphonies will be conducted by Enrico Delamboye.
