Theatres around the country will open next week for controlled performances to investigate the logistics surrounding corona rapid tests combined with visits to the theatre.
The aim of the test performances is to reopen the culture sector in a controlled manner. Audiences who wish to visit the theatre need a (free) rapid test 40 hours before the start which can be booked 2 weeks in advance through a separate ‘testing for access’ website. Usual corona measures apply during the performance.
Tickets are on sale now for Theatre aan het Vrijthof’s performances by Alex Agnew and International Theatre Amsterdam on 13th-15th April. (All of which are Dutch language performances).
Concert tickets for the test performances in Concertgebouw, Amsterdam sold out in 30 minutes proving that people are definitely ready to get back to live theatre.
